- Fairies
The Fairies race in Gublusk bay Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm from May to September. Two boats, Storm and Maeve, have been rebuilt and two others, Cygnet and Zephyr are in reconstruction. The venerable Snipe continues to be sailed although, like many old ladies, bits and pieces are beginning to sag.
- GP 14
There is currently a fleet of eleven privately owned GP’s within the club and in 1999 the club purchased seven boats to be used within the clubs sailing school and for the development of race training. This proved to be very successful and has brought many new members into the club.
- J24s
LEYC’s J/24 Fleet will sail on Tuesday, and occasional Thursday, evenings, and weekends, as listed below.
- Lasers
Ireland’s oldest yacht racing club Laser designer, Bruce Kirby’s grandparents emigrated to Canada from Ballyscullion, near Toome, in Northern Ireland.
- Motor Cruisers
Just over 2000 Motor Cruisers are registered witnin Lough Erne including the commercial hire fleets which are one of the main incentives to visit Lough Erne. For more information on our cruiser fleet as well as information as to our annual activities please click on the motor cruiser link.
- Sailing Cruisers
One of the most active fleets at the club, the sailing cruisers sail most Saturday nights and Sundays and organise a number of fun events during the year.
- Toppers
Topper are used within the club to introduce children/adults to sailing and to develop the racing skills of young sailors up to a highly competitive level.
- Yeomans
As of February, 2008, there are 15 Yeomans sailing at LEYC.

By May’s end, 60 sailors in 11 active J/24s had the best ever early season of their 25 seasons as an LEYC fleet. After 15 races, 6 prize-winning boats included historic Jet in her 30th year.
